The first rumors about Jaguar’s flagship SUV appeared a few years ago. If the latest reports are correct, the planned model as the competitor of the BMW X6, the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, the Audi A8 and the Porsche Cayenne Coupe will arrive in 2021.
The yet unclear J-Pace is expected to be built on the Jaguar Land Rover’s MLA platform and will feature a six-cylinder turbo engine that powers the front wheels and a plug-in hybrid unit, powered by a rear-wheel electric unit. The electric range of the car is reported to be 80 kilometers
Allegedly, Jaguar will also offer a more affordable version of the SUV in question with a four-cylinder engine. If there is enough demand, a fully electric version of the car will come.
The new J-Pace, which is supposed to offer a large internal volume thanks to the electric power unit, will have a sloping ceiling. The E-Pace and F-Pace will be about 4.9 meters in length.
